f they've commited suicide by beaching themselves, why is there blood. Surely they would have just died of dehydration? Where do the wounds come from... The blood is a bit suspect...
Are you trying to put forward the hypothesis that more intelligent animals are more likely to self-harm? Do you think that self harming requires as a prerequisite a developed sense of self? Do this mean that less complicated organism can only strive towards self preservation? How does this relate back to man as the aswell implies?
